In a karahi dry roast moong dal for 5 minutes or till light brown. Pressure cook with water and turmeric powder for a minute after first whistle. Kerala Dal Curry Recipe

Grind the coconut, jeera seeds, shallots and green chillies with some water in to a smooth paste. Mix the ground coconut mixture with cooked moong dal, add MAGGI Masasa-ae-Magic and salt to taste. Stir well, bring it to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Kerala Dal Curry Recipe

Heat oil in a karahi, splutter mustard seeds, add shallots, red chillies and curry leaves. Sauté until shallots are golden brown. Kerala Dal Curry Recipe
