Commonly made with freshly ground soaked chana dal, this recipe is an adaptation which is quick and convenient. It is a savory, light and steamed dish from Gujrat and is very healthy. This goes well with mint and coriander chutney. To add twist, add some grated carrot and finely chopped cabbage in the batter to make a Veggie Khaman Dhokla.

Prepare ingredients as mentioned in the list. Sieve besan twice to make sure there are no lumps. Add turmeric powder, asafoetida, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1 tablespoon of oil, MAGGI Masala-ae-Magic and salt to taste. Veggie Khaman Dhokla Recipe
