Add diverse & seasonal vegetables
You may add vegetables like broccoli, capsicum, carrots, in order to make vegetable moong dal khichdi and enhance the fibre content of the dish.
Often considered as a comfort food, Moong Dal Khichdi is a complete meal in itself, which is healthy wholesome and good for you. It is usually served with a dollop of ghee and yoghurt, pickle and papad on the side.
Prepare ingredients as mentioned in the list. Wash the rice and moong dal and keep aside.
