An easy availability of the basic ingredients and the simplicity of making this dish, coupled with the fact that it is super tasty, all contribute to its popularity. It is the perfect dish to make, when you are too lazy to go grocery shopping! Add some cheesy twist by just before removing the Aloo Matar from the flame, add a generous amount of grated paneer and cheese on top. Lastly, garnish the dish with a dash of chaat masala!
