The Ingredient List

  • Quinoa - 1 Cup
  • Water - 2 Cup
  • Salt as per taste
  • Oil - 2 Tablespoons
  • Mustard seeds
  • Cumin seeds
  • Onion - 1/2 Cup
  • Cabbage - 1 Cup
  • Curry leaves - 4-5
  • Carrot - 1/2 Cup
  • MAGGI Cubes - 1
  • French beans - 1/2 Cup
  • Peas - 1/3 Cup
  • Orange bell pepper - 1/2 Cup
  • Yellow bell pepper - 1/2 Cup
  • Green bell pepper - 1/2 Cup
  • Turmeric Powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Red chilli Powder - 1 Teaspoon
  • Cumin Powder - 1 Teaspoon
  • Coriander Powder - 1 Teaspoon
  • Lime juice - 1/2 Tablespoon
  • Corainder leaves

The Easy Steps

For Prepration:

  1. Prepare ingredients as mentioned in the list , Soak 1 cup Quinoa in warm water for 10 mins, strain & rinse it clean then boil it in 2 cups of water along with ½ teaspoon salt. Close the lid and let it cook for 10 mins , after 10 mins switch off the flame and let quinoa cool for 10 mins.

For Cooking:

  1. Heat 2 tablespoon oil in a pan and add Mustard seeds, Curry leaves, Cumin seeds let it splutter and then add Onions, Cabbage carrot, Bell peppers (Yellow, Orange and Green), French beans, Peas and sauté on high heat till veggies turn crunchy.
  2. Add spices like Red chili powder, Turmeric powder, Cumin powder ,coriander powder, MAGGI masala, salt, saute all spices into veggies and then add Cooked Quinoa, Lime juice and mix everything and let it cook for 5 mins.
  3. Garnish with the spring onions, coriander leaves and serve hot.
