The Ingredient List

For Dough:
  • ¾ cup all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Water
For Stuffing:
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 3-4 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped ginger
  • ½ cup finely chopped carrot
  • ½ cup finely chopped cabbage
  • ½ cup finely chopped capsicum
  • ¼ cup finely chopped green onion or onion
  • 2-3 finely chopped green chilly
  • 250 gram Paneer
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper powder, ¼ MAGGI Masala
  • ½ teaspoon MAGGI masala, salt to taste
For Momo Manchurian:
  • 1 Tablespoon Oil
  • ¼ Cup roughly chopped onion
  • ¼ Cup roughly chopped capsicum
  • 1/2 Cup of MAGGI hot and sweet tomato chilli sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons soya sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons vineger
  • Salt to taste
  • Chaat masala

The Easy Steps

For Dough:

  1. Add ¾ cup of all purpose flour, 1 teaspoon oil and salt in large bowl.
  2. Mix all ingredients well and prepare a soft dough (like pratha dough) by adding warm water as needed.
  3. Cover the dough and keep it aside for 20 – 25 minutes.

For Stuffing:

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan oven medium flame. Add finely chopped ginger and garlic and saute for 30 sec.
  2. Add onion and saute for a minute.
  3. Add all chopped veggies (carrot , cabbage, capsicum , paneer) and salt.
  4. Add ½ teaspoon blackpepper and ½ teaspoon MAGGI masala .
  5. Mix well and saute for a minute. Turn off the flame.

For Momos:

  1. Cut the dough and make 15-20 small round shape.
  2. Place one dough pattie on a rolling board & roll it out into a thin disc.
  3. Place approx . 1 Tablespoon filling in the center. Don”t over-stuff it, otherwise it will be difficult to get a proper “potli” shape.
  4. Prepare remaining momos in similar way.
  5. Grease a steamer with oil. Arange all the momos on this.
  6. Steam them for 6 to 7 minute over medium flame or until they look translucent and shiny.
  7. Take these momos and keep them to cool.
  8. Take a pan full of oil and fry the steam momos in this.
  9. When the momos get golden brown colour take them out from the pan.

For Momo Manchurian:

  1. Heat a pan with three teaspoon oil.
  2. Add roughly copped onion and capsicum.
  3. After 30 second add ¼ cup of MAGGI hot and sweet tomato chilly sacue with this add ¼ teaspoon soya sacue and ¼ teaspoon vinegar.
  4. Add salt and chat masala.
  5. Finally add the fried momos for 30 seconds.
  6. Turn off the flame and serve it hot.
