The Ingredient List

  • Nacho chips
  • Cheese Powder - 2-3 Tablespoons
  • Garlic Powder – ½ Teaspoon
  • Onion Powder - ½ Teaspoon
  • MAGGI Masala – 1 Teaspoon
  • Oregano - 1 Teaspoon
  • Red Chilli Powder - 1 Teaspoon
  • Salt – To Taste
  • Butter – 2 Tablespoons
  • Crushed MAGGI powder
  • Milk – 150 Ml
  • Cheese
  • Onion : 1 Medium
  • Tomatoes : 2 Small
  • Green Chilli : 1
  • Lemon Juice
  • Tomato : 1 (Pureed)
  • Minced garlic (optional)

The Easy Steps

Nachos:

  1. Boil cup of water with one sachet of MAGGI noodles masala for 3-4 minutes. Add equal amounts of maize flour (1 cup), stir until combined and let it sit for 10 minutes or until the dough becomes easier to touch and work with.
  2. In a mixing bowl add the prepared dough and 4-5 tablespoons of crushed MAGGI powder (raw MAGGI noodles ground into a fine powder), salt and a quarter teaspoon of pepper and knead a stiff dough.
  3. Roll thin sheets of the dough ( between 2 plastic sheets) and trim the uneven edges. Prick the dough with the help of fork so that the nachos do not puff up while frying. Cut into the desired shape and fry in medium hot oil.
  4. Coat the Fried Nachos with the spice mix and keep them aside covered / in an airtight container.
  5. Heat 2 Tbsp of butter in a saucepan on a low flame and add the crushed MAGGI powder as a thickening agent. Keep stirring to avoid burning. Add 40-50 grams and stir to combine Later add milk as per the desired consistency ( 150ml) Grate cheese and add it to the sauce and add MAGGI noodle masala sachet (01 packet) Once the sauce thickens switch off the flame and serve.
