The Ingredient List

For Base:
  • Onion paste, 3 medium sized
  • Garlic powder, ½ tsp
  • Red chilli powder, 1tsp
  • Coriander powder, 2tbsp
  • Salt, 1tbsp
  • Curd, 100gm
  • MAGGI Hot & Sweet Tomato Chilli Sauce – 1 tablespoon
  • Garam Masala grounded, ½ tsp
  • Kashmiri lal mirch, 1tbsp
  • Black pepper, 8 nos
  • Cloves, 2nos
  • Black cardamom, 1nos
  • Oil, 3tbsp
  • Water , 4 cup
For Chicken Kofta:
  • Chicken mince, 250gm
  • Slitted green chilles, 3nos
  • Onion diced, 1 small sized
  • Ginger grated, 1 tsp
  • Garam masala grounded, ½ tsp
  • Poppy seeds, 1tbsp
  • MAGGI COCONUT MILK POWDER, 1tbsp
  • Roasted gram flour, 3tbsp
  • Salt, 1tsp
  • Red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp
  • Mint leaves, 1 handful of bunch
For Granishing:
  • Few fresh coriander leaves.

The Easy Steps

For Preparation:

  1. Add the mentioned ingredients in the chicken mince to make meatballs of even size and shallow fry them.

For Cooking:

  1. Heat the oil in a karahi and black pepper, cloves, black cardamom and add onion paste along with garlic powder. Until onion paste turns golden brown.
  2. To this, add red chilli powder, coriander powder, salt, garam masala grounded powder. Sauté this paste until oil separates for 4-5 minutes.
  3. Add whishked curd to the curry and fry it until oil separates.
  4. Add fried chiclen kofta to the curry, and fry for 2 minutes, then add the water. Keep it on medium to low flame until you achieve desired consistency.

For Serve:

  1. Garnish with the chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with Rice or rumali roti.
